As fate would have it, Shashank’s path crossed with the renowned flautist Vidwan Sri H.S. Sampath Kumar, a direct disciple of T.R. Mahalingam. Captivated by the lilting tones of the Bansuri, the young artist approached the maestro, and thus began a profound musical relationship. Under the tutelage of Vidwan Sri H.S. Sampath Kumar, Shashank’s musical journey took a transformative turn, encompassing both vocal and instrumental training.

When life presented him with unexpected twists, Shashank embraced the path of Hindustani classical music. Immersing himself in the intricacies of the Bansuri, he embarked on a new chapter under the guidance of Sri Jayateerth Kulkarni. Further refining his art, Shashank received advanced training from Pandith Sri Venkatesh Godkhindi. Presently, he continues to be a devoted disciple of the world-renowned Flautist Pandith Sri Pravin Godkhndi.
